Young human rights defenders

The goal of the Young Human Rights Defenders Program is to train new human rights defenders. The program consists of two parts and includes sessions about human rights principles, national and international mechanisms for the implementation of human rights and research skills. Also, selected participants will be given the opportunity to apply knowledge gained. They prepare policy papers and reports which cover various topics in the field of human rights and are published publicly for raising awareness about the protection of human rights. To date, the training programme for young human rights defenders has been held three times, and 14 researches on various issues of human rights have been made.

At present, our graduates operate in different areas on human rights.
